    Works good
I've used this stuff for years it works good. I always spray it which I feel if you think it out a little with xylene it sprays better. It holds up pretty good for a diy bed liner. Only negative is that it fades out after a few years.

I ordered one can to test it out for myself. I was very pleased with the consistency of the product. It applied with an easy spray application. It has a slight texture which hides surface imperfections. I pulled out all of the carpet in the bed of my Jeep for this project. For a proper bed coating several layers will need to be applied. Also, once you start using a can---plan on using the entire can. I do not think it would be reasonable to expect the sprayer to stay clear if you allowed the product time to set-up in the sprayer. I think that is what some of the negative feed-back is about. When you start using the can---use the entire can at THAT time...Or plan on waisting the remainder of the product. I am not certain how many cans I will need to complete my project. Probably 15. I just ordered 4 more cans. I figure I'll order 4-5 cans each week until I get the thickness I desire. It will still be considerably less expensive than having it professionally sprayed. Plus, I still have use of my vehicle during the process. WIN-WIN!

First off let me point out that this item, though advertised as being new, had obviously been used or at least someone may have sprayed it to test it out. I have attached photos to show how the can arrived when I opened the package. That being said, I didn't have time to try to return it and wait for a new can so I went ahead and used it. I have not used this particular bedliner spray before so I cannot attest to how long it may last against the elements, but I did notice that it seems to take several coats to get solid coverage over the surface of whatever you are spraying. It dries reasonably quickly enough to apply another coat or to handle the item being painted in order to turn it over to paint the other side, but it seems to me that you may have to let the paint cure over an extended period of time in direct sun in order for it to bake on and not peel off easily.
All in all I would rate this product as being okay and if it stands up to the crazy Houston weather I may give it a better rating; however, being that I received a used can and the amount I had to use in order to cover a small area I can only give it the rating I did. (took an entire can to cover a medium-sized cargo roof rack that measures about 46"×37" and it wasn't a thick coat either).

Five stars isn't enough. I've read the negative reviews, and most make it painfully clear the instructions weren't followed. Do this:
      1. Wash with HOT water, and lots of cheap dish soap. Specialized cleaning agents are a waste of money. Air dry.
      2. Scuff, but do not use anything finer than the scuff pad or 80 grit sandpaper. Go for heavy scratches, and no remaining gloss.
NOTE: If armoring rails apply painters tape first, then scuff. Remove tape before washing in step 3.
      3. Wash again per step 1.
      4. Inspect for smooth paint/remaining gloss, and scuff those areas .Primer exposed metal and rust. Wash again if any scuffing occurred.
      5. Paint prept:
      a. Shield the back of the cab with painters tape and newspaper.
      b. Remove tailgate and cover attachment points, rubber flaps, bumper, and taillights.
      c. Remove tie-downs and cover the bolt holes with a 1/2" bit of tape. Finding them is easy as there will be a soft spot.
      d. Reapply tape to rails if needed. Don't stretch too tight, and firmly press down.
      6. First coat goes on lightly as it doesn't have anything to grab onto. Disposable gloves are a good idea.
      a. The roller seems to leave more behind than the brush for the first coat, but use the brush for tight areas.
      b. Do the rails last, and start at the cab and work back.
      c. Wait for the material to be soft but not sticky, then remove the tape and clean up with a damp rag.
      d. Clean the roller, brush and tray in hot water, and set out to dry.
      7. After reapplying tape the second and third coats go on great with the brush.
      a. Cab first, rails last.
      b. Be generous with the goop.
      c. Use long straight stokes.
      d. Everything else same as 6.
In warm weather with sunny conditions my third coat (applied thickly) dried to the touch in 90 minutes. After the second coat it was already very strong.

I’ve tested this product over 3 years and it is amazing! For a water based bedliner with Kevlar, it’s excellent value. Best application is through a low pressure spray gun, also known as a Shultz Gun or Underbody spray gun. Brush only cut in for tight spaces. Mask and spray the rest at 30psi through a LP gun as mentioned. Make sure surfaces and prepared as per manufacturers instructions.
