Edelbrock 55725 Muffler These new, high flow mufflers from Edelbrock use their patent pending Sound Deflection Technology SDT that achieves a balance of sound and performance by using the exhaust's own sound against itself. The chambered design allows the engine to breathe while producing a distinctive sound that doesn't change over time because there's no packing to blow out. Instead the exhaust travel through three separate chambers that modify the sound wave energy and redirect it back on the incoming waves to reduce exhaust noise significantly and still produce more horsepower than any other competitive brand. They are available in a wide variety of configurations and finished in either the Ti Tech coating or stainless steel which can be polished to a high luster.
